Always depended on the situation for me...
Hammer for elite zones because running Earth Shaker is amazing when everything mobs.
Sword for vanquishing and the occasional mission or dungeon - producing SY spam is pro.
Axe for extreme boredom when all I want to do is admire my sexy weapons.
Those reasons are for PvE of course.

Axe all the way> some times swords for more conditions but axe> all dealls good dammage attacks fast compared to hammer which kds and such are nice but wat wld u rly need em for in PVE hammer and axe are best for pvp as well. evisc+executioners+ago chop cant be beat in pve or pve + str gives it more armor penetration and very nice skinned axes and perfect size, just not enough animated skins with exception of tormented axe which looks bad imo

Me i prefer to run a axe build just because i love the high and fast damage spike from a aderaline dump. But i like all 3 warrior weapons seeing as my 1st character was a warrior.

So you've got 16 sword and 12 channeling and no shield attribute...
Hundred blades does SOUND good when you first read its description, but as you play with other elites your going to learn that it really can't compare to the likes of Dragon Slash or Triple chop.
And given the current form of splinter weapon your dealing less dmg with hundered blades as you could be with Cyclone axe. (ie hitting 3+ foes with cyclone will triger the max responce from splinter)

I always think that hundred blades looks bad on paper but works pretty well. Paired with any of the following skills and its very effective:
[FGJ!]
[Conjure Flame]
[Conjure Frost]
[Conjure Lightning]
[Strength of honor]
[Splinter weapon]
[Brutal weapon]
[Barbs]
[infuriating heat] (on another player/hero)
[Mark of pain]
[Mark of fury]
Lets not forget that under FGJ! Hundred Blades only has to hit 2 foes to grant **8!!** adrenaline, and thats every 6 seconds. Its so versitile.
Meh some people don't like it but I still love it!!

Yet all those skills would have benefit from it's non-elite counterpart, SnM.
Unblockable too!

[[Sun and Moon Slash] is nice compared to the other 8 adrenaline Swordsmanship skills ([[Galrath Slash],[[Silverwing Slash]), but it's got this annoying thing about it where you can't use it as the opening move of a battle since it requires adrenaline. It also only hits your target, so has a totally different use than [[Hundred Blades]. Using both skills together, of course, is a workable idea, though bringing along something with +damage (such as [[Power Attack] or [[Soldier's Strike], depending on how you assign your attributes) would be a good idea.

Sword because it just fits my character. And the combo build I worked up that requires swords suits me well.

Adr isn't as much of an issue if you take [[Enraging Charge] and [["For Great Justice!"]. You'll have SaMS up as a second or third attack, depending on how you set yourself up. Btw, Power Attack/Soldier's Strike aren't really all that good, SS is Tactics, which doesn't really have any uses unless you're stuck with a Tactics shield (though 8AL isn't a big deal, but meh), and Power Attack just isn't really impressive unless you're desperate for attacks.
